Key Job Responsibilities Partner with teams across accounting, finance, operations, and technology organizations within Amazon Complete a project unique to you and your team, flexing your accounting, analytical, and business acumen to optimize processes, drive quality, and solve real problems Present a capstone project to stakeholders and leadership, showcasing your results Possibly receive an offer to join Amazon's full‑time Accounting Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) after completing your degree, if Amazon extends an inclined hire decision Basic Qualifications 18 years of age or older Work 40 hours/week throughout the course of a 12‑week summer internship between May through September Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting (or a dual degree/sub‑matriculation master’s degree program completed concurrently with your bachelor’s degree at the same institution) with a graduation conferral date between December 2027 and June 2028 Preferred Qualifications Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering results Excellent analytical skills with the ability to source, summarize, and communicate data relevant to the problem at hand Curiosity and desire to learn complex processes, systems, and business concepts Solid understanding of accounting principles and their application in a business context Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling) Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities A practical and creative approach to problem solving, especially in ambiguous situations Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Strong academic record Commitment to continuous self‑development and professional growth Amazon is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
