Dispatch Supervisor

Dispatch SupervisorWe are seeking a hands-on Dispatch Supervisor to lead outbound shipping and dispatch operations in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment. This working leader ensures that all customer orders are accurately picked, staged, verified, and loaded on time while maintaining strict safety, quality, and cold chain standards. This role partners closely with warehouse, inventory, transportation, and maintenance teams to drive operational efficiency and compliance in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipSupervise daily outbound and dispatch operations including dock activity, staging, and trailer loadingLead and mentor team members through active floor presence and engagementAssign work, monitor productivity, and ensure shipping deadlines are metCoordinate dock scheduling and transportation movements (inbound/outbound)Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and internal departmentsQuality & ComplianceVerify product, quantities, documentation, and load accuracyEnsure all loads meet temperature control and cold chain standardsPerform outbound quality checks and resolve shipping discrepancies (misloads, shortages, damage)Maintain dispatch logs, shipment records, and verification documentationSupport audits, inventory checks, and compliance inspectionsEnforce company policies, safety standards, and operational proceduresTeam & Administrative OversightTrain and onboard new team membersManage timecards, attendance tracking, PTO approvals, and payroll accuracyMonitor performance and provide coaching to improve efficiency and accuracyParticipate in daily operational meetings and provide performance updatesIdentify workflow improvements to enhance productivity and reduce errorsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs at timesAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout shiftAbility to operate material handling equipment (forklift/pallet jack)Must wear required PPE (freezer suit, gloves, hearing protection)Who we are looking for: We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive in collaborative and fast-moving environments.
