Sr Human Resources Business Partner

Job Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a fast‑paced manufacturing site, which may include multiple shifts and multiple plants or machines. This person will be responsible for the overall performance of the site, including establishing and maintaining business objectives, ensuring compliance with all local and federal environmental responsibilities, growing, and developing the business, and leading a competent and engaged team. They will ensure all employees strive to meet the standards set forth by the company for safety, quality, efficiency, preventative maintenance, and bottom‑line results. Job Location This position is on site and located at our manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ. Job Responsibilities Ensure excellence through safety, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, productivity, and quality fundamentals. Manage controllable expenses to meet expected financial goals. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to drive a culture of excellence across all functions. Share best practices across sites and learn from other sites. Explore equipment and processes that expand capability and efficiency. Ensure BOMs are correct and products are manufactured within BOM cost and quality commitments. Manage yard organization, product rotation, and removal of obsolete or excessive inventory. Collaborate with the EH&S Manager to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Spend at least 60% of time on the floor interacting with plant teams and leadership. Follow internal control guidelines at the site. Develop, plan, and execute capital project requests. Use KPIs to measure progress, including daily production reports, BI dashboards, Vorne boards, and other OPS tools. Implement all OPS initiatives at the site. Hold self and employees accountable for implementing best practices and making right decisions for the business. Recruit, develop, and mentor strong site staff to ensure efficient operations. Direct and monitor the work of direct reports in accordance with business plans and individual goals. Lead development of training programs to promote employee engagement. Use standardized skills matrices and customized job interviews to ensure consistency in hiring. Ensure production of top‑quality products that meet delivery expectations. Develop technical knowledge of on‑site processes. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years as a plant manager in a similar industry or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience managing automated, high‑speed manufacturing preferred. Ability to review and discuss production reports and financial statements. Strong working knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures.
