Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, using structured interviews and evidence-based assessment tools.

  • Provide therapeutic services in both individual and group formats, employing various therapeutic modalities based on clients' needs (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy).

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes in our secure electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to confidentiality regulations.

  • Collaborate with a network of healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care for clients and ensure an integrated approach to mental health treatment.

  • Ensure adherence to the ethical and professional guidelines set forth by state licensing boards and cultural competency standards.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Vision in Mind Counseling Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a varied demographic, including children, adolescents, and adults facing diverse mental health challenges. Your experience will help support clients dealing with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, and substance use.   • A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in New Jersey is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary that ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
