That is why we are looking for a smart driven Full-stack Engineer to build performing, scalable, and elegant user experiences while collaborating across disciplines—from backend services to data workflows. In this role you will: Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance web and mobile applications using modern frameworks (TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vite, Tailwind CSS) Proven experience in designing intuitive, responsive data visualizations and best practices in information architecture. Embrace the use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Vercel V0) to accelerate prototyping, refactoring, and supporting full stack applications. Optimize applications for speed, accessibility, and cross-device responsiveness Collaborate with backend and data teams to build and integrate APIs (REST, GraphQL) and support end-to-end system functionality Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices including Git, cloud hosting patterns, and IaC. Learn and/or apply data engineering practices (Python scripting, data pipelines, SQL, and analytics workflows) to support data-rich front-end experiences Promote code quality through tools like ESLint, Prettier, and test frameworks (e.g., Jest, Robot Framework) Participate in code reviews, architecture decisions, and team process improvements To be qualified for this role, you will have: Growth company DNA, as described above. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly understand and explain complex concepts in a simple and concise manner. Bachelor’s degree or higher from a selective college or university, or similarly developmental and distinguished life experience. The ability to successfully work on a remote-based team with a willingness to travel to team meetings & offsites, which could be up to 25% of the time. Required Qualifications Multiple years of professional experience in front-end engineering with advanced knowledge of React, Next.js, Vite, and Tailwind CSS Hands-on experience integrating APIs and developing middle-tier logic in Node.js Proven use of AI developer tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, V0) in real-world projects Solid DevOps background including Docker and cloud deployment pipelines (AWS preferred) Familiarity with backend integration patterns, and eagerness to work across the full stack Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with mobile development using React Native or similar cross-platform tools Exposure to Python for backend or data scripting Comfort with SQL and relational databases, or interest in learning data engineering practices Cloud development and hosting services (preferably with experience using AWS) Prior success in startup or high-growth environments with ownership of critical initiative Proprio offers its employees a generous range of compensation and benefits. Salary Range: $140,000 - $192,000 Our compensation philosophy is to bring people into new roles in the range of the mid-point of that role.
