Cardiovascular Surgeon

CompHealth is seeking a skilled physician for a role that involves rounding on assigned patients and performing various surgical procedures. This position requires a 30-minute response time for beeper calls and offers the opportunity to work with a specialized recruitment team that handles housing, travel, credentialing, and licensing. The ideal candidate will have experience in CV/thoracic surgery, including both open and endoscopic techniques.

Practice Info

• Average 2 patients per shift
• Rounding on assigned patients only -- admissions not required

Responsibilities

• Respond to beeper calls within 30 minutes
• Perform CABG, TAVR, valvular repair, aneurysm repair, and lung resection procedures
• Perform pacemaker placement, AICD, bronchoscopy, and vent management
• Perform esophagus, diaphragm, chest wall, and pleural procedures
