We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support the overall health and well-being of our patients. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, patient assessment, and infection control protocols. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient clinical operation while maintaining compliance with all HIPAA and medical privacy regulations.

- Licensed dental hygienist
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Job Description
Duties
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing to maintain optimal oral health.
Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review.
Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures and provide age-appropriate patient education.
Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays using appropriate aseptic techniques.
Document patient findings accurately in EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment plans.
Support chairside assisting during various dental procedures, ensuring proper infection control and sterilization protocols are followed.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, including medical records and dental charts.
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and current best practices in general dentistry.
