About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Intermediate Care / Step-Down unit with a patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• Manage and monitor adult and geriatric patients presenting with conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, CABG (post-op day 2), ALIF, and EXLIF
• Utilize Medhost EHR for documentation and patient management
• Float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed, including ED holds when up for admission
• Participate in on-call rotation; must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes when placed on call

• Current RN state license (Arizona or compact license)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate

• Experience caring for cardiac and respiratory patient populations in a step-down or IMC setting
• Familiarity with Medhost or similar EHR platforms
• Experience floating to Medical Surgical or Telemetry units

• Work at a Joint Commission Accredited, 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center that is also a Certified Chest Pain Center and Level 3 Trauma facility
