Senior Associate Veterinarian - Dentistry

About the Role As a Senior Veterinarian – Dentistry at Bond Vet, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing dental and oral diseases in animals. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall health and well-being of our patients. If interested, you’ll have the opportunity to play a training and leadership role amongst our veterinarians. What You'll Do Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments. Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including periodontal disease, dental fractures, oral tumors, and malocclusions. Conduct dental procedures such as cleanings, extractions, and oral surgeries. Educate pet owners on the importance of dental health and preventive care. Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans. (Option to play a role in dental prophylaxis and oral surgery training of our clinicians.) Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. The base salary will fall between $180,000-$200,000 depending on experience annually with increase for weekend shifts. This role will be assigned to administrative days and in-clinic days between Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey. What You'll Bring Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution. 3-5+ years of veterinary dentistry experience preferred. Board certification or eligibility is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
