We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. In this role, you will:
- Purchase raw materials, components, and supplies needed for fabrication and production
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs)
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery to support production schedules
- Review and verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor files
- Coordinate with production and management teams to ensure material availability for operations
- Assist with sourcing materials and services to support fabrication projects
- Previous purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Understanding of fabrication materials such as steel, components, and shop supplies preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with purchasing systems or ERP software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- QuickBooks or other accounting software experience a plus
- Ability to read basic blueprints or material specifications is a plus
