ey Highlights: The Director will provide strategic, clinical, educational, and research leadership for the subspecialized Section of Pediatric Neuroradiology within the division of Pediatric Radiology. Leadership responsibilities include direct oversight of all clinical operations of the pediatric neuroradiology section, faculty and trainee mentorship, driving quality improvement, patient safety initiatives and operational efficiency and create strategic initiatives to enhance national visibility. They will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and developmental pediatrics. The Director is expected to optimize advanced imaging techniques, including functional MRI, diffusion imaging, fetal MRI, quantitative neuroimaging and AI in neuroimaging. Academically, the Director is expected to maintain a strong record of scholarly activity and publications, collaborate with basic scientists in the Pediatric Imaging Research Center (PIRC) and the Department of Radiology, as well as clinical collaborators in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and work alongside the Pediatric Neuroradiology fellowship director to expand the fellowship training program. Grant funding is a plus but not required. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing excellence in clinical care, fostering innovation in neuroimaging, and supporting the academic mission of the department and institution.
