Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Goldsboro, NC. This role involves delivering exceptional patient care in a hospital setting. The Clinical Nurse will coordinate and implement patient care using the nursing process, in collaboration with the Nurse Manager/Director.

Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse - RN Med Surg

• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Participate in patient education and implement educational programs
• Evaluate patient outcomes and revise care plans with guidance
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems
• Perform bedside point of care testing as needed
• Consult with appropriate resources for complex care issues
• Develop goals for professional growth and participate in unit goals
• Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
• Develop relationships with families to advocate for patient needs
• Collaborate on care plans with patients and family
• Use available multidisciplinary resources in planning care

Requirements of the Clinical Nurse - RN Med Surg

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum of 2 years current IMC experience and willing to take IMC patients
• Completion of PCU/IMC checklist with submission
• One (1) year of nursing experience
• Nursing Diploma; ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing required
