Position Overview THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SEXUAL ASSAULT PREVENTION RESPONSE VICTIM ADVOCATE (SAPR VA), Position Description Number T5922000 and is part of the JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Veteran's Preference does not apply due to this being a Professional Series position. Education and Experience Requirements Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines with at least 24 semester hours of coursework in the behavioral or social sciences. OR a combination of education and experience that provides knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field, including at least 24 semester hours of coursework. OR four years of appropriate experience demonstrating knowledge equivalent to a major in the field. Must have one year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience in analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, gathering pertinent data, recognizing solutions, preparing reports, plans, policies, and various correspondence. Experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of social science program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions.
