Position We are hiring Processors for permanent, full‑time positions aboard the F/T North Glacier in Alaska’s Bering Sea. The role requires a mentally and physically resilient individual who can work a rotating schedule year‑round and be prepared for physically demanding work in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Sort fish by species, size, and condition Tend and operate machinery Inspect product to ensure it meets company quality standards Package, weigh and label product for freezer placement Deep clean factory equipment Participate in off‑load of frozen product at end of trip Load and unload other supplies onto the vessel Requirements Repetitive, fast‑paced work requiring accuracy and consistent movements Physical lifting up to 50 lbs Standing 16 hours per day, 7 days per week Ability to work in wet, cold, and confined small spaces Self‑motivated team‑player Must be able to provide two positive references from previous employers All candidates subject to post‑offer pre‑employment drug test, medical screening, and background check Accept limited privacy in bunk rooms and limited communication on board (cell phones do not work, but satellite Wi‑Fi is available) Benefits Company‑provided meals and laundry at no cost Satellite Wi‑Fi with Starlink for high‑speed broadband connectivity Travel policy: successful completion of 65 consecutive fishing days grants eligibility for airfare and hotel expenses between the vessel and Seattle, paid by the company 401(k) plan with company matching Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Employee Assistance Program EEO Statement Glacier Fish Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
