A friendly family in Wellesley is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny to care for their 18-month-old child. They are looking for a warm, attentive caregiver who can provide a steady, supportive presence and help foster healthy development through age-appropriate engagement throughout the day. They are seeking a dependable, professional individual who communicates well, takes initiative, and is comfortable managing the flow of the day independently while staying aligned with the parents’ overall routines and expectations.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant childcare experience
• CPR & First Aid certified
• Non-smoker
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• COVID and flu vaccinations preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and ensure the child’s safety and well-being
• Support daily routines and create a structured, predictable environment
• Engage the child in developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day
• Prepare meals and snacks and manage feeding routines as needed
• Support sleep schedules and maintain consistent daily rhythms
• Coordinate with parents to align on schedules, activities, and developmental needs
• Manage bottle preparation and sanitation as applicable
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of child-related spaces and belongings
• Handle child laundry and restock essential supplies
• Occasional evening or weekend availability with advance notice

Position Details

• Location: Wellesley
• Schedule TBD – 30 hours per week between 8 AM and 5 PM to be discussed and agreed upon.
• Start Date: ASAP
• Compensation: $30–$33 per hour, based on experience (taxes withheld)
• Driving: Required (family car provided for on-the-job use; parking available)
