RN Inpatient - Endoscopy - FT

Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Collaborates with other inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up as patients move along the continuum of care. Responsible for the planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. Functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure. Schedule & Compensation Work Shift: 10 Hours – Day Shifts (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: Salary Range: $34 - $48 Sign on Bonus: $10,000 for eligible candidates Shift times: 7:30am–6:00pm or 6:30am–5:00pm (10‑hour day shifts) One late stay per week Every 5th or 6th weekend call schedule One holiday each year Highlights of the role include Typical patient ratios fall between 1:2 to 1:3 Opportunity for GI certification 4 different areas to train into: Admissions, Sedation/Circulation, Recovery, and the Tech role (assisting while in‑procedure) Develop expertise in a variety of diagnostic procedures Career ladders available to those seeking personal growth Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA) required. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring. Possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
