Principal Accountabilities Essential Job Functions Functions as clinical instructor on designated unit for local universities Adheres to university adjunct professor requirements regarding curriculum and grading Adheres to Atlantic Health System requirements regarding student to instructor ratio Ensures students are adhering to all Atlantic Health System policies regarding parking, hygiene, and patient care requirements. Participates in required on- campus activities such as simulation for clinical course Gathers data to monitor student outcomes at beginning and conclusion of clinical rotation Facilitates student engagement on unit and promotes AHS Nurse Externship and Hire Learner Programs Assists unit educator and clinical nurse specialist in unit-based education needs (Hire Learner Education, cross-training education, simulation days, competency days) Other duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications for Internal Candidates Required MSN Required Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care experience in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse Valid New Jersey Nursing License Preferred Specialty Certification Required preferred Relevant Experience Recent minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting.
