Job Type Regular Work Location Best Buy 517 - North Charleston, SC 29406 Overview Become a Part‑Time HP Retail Sales Associate! Pay: $15.00 per hour. Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs. Day‑in‑the‑Life Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store Train retail store associates on HP products and services Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo‑readiness Report and provide competitive insights What Qualifications Do I Need? Problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiast Outgoing personality and eagerness to learn Comfort with customer engagement and product demonstration Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus Training or product demonstration experience is a plus 1‑year job experience required Job Description Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis Welcome customers courteously and offer assistance Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs Advise customers by providing information on products and services Help customers make selections by building customer confidence Accurately document and report sales Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations Ensure workstation/kiosk is clean, well‑organized, functional and presentable at all times Submit all paperwork completely and accurately Performance Measurements Regular and prompt attendance Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience Demonstrated knowledge of products and services Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Ability to maintain customer confidentiality EEO Statement 2020 Companies is a committed equal opportunity employer.
