• $40/hour based on experience

Schedule: 4x10hr shifts Tuesday-Friday (6:30 AM start)

Position Overview

• Preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for oral conscious sedation, IV moderate sedation, and deep sedation for pediatric dental procedures
• IV placement
• Oral, intranasal, and IV medication administration within the scope of practice
• Excellent communication skills
• Assist an anesthesiologist
• Maintain accurate records for patient care and medication administration
• Respond to all medical emergency codes within the practice
• Ability to work closely with a team of people in a fast-paced environment
• Pediatric experience REQUIRED
• BLS, PALS, ACLS required

Education Requirements/Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an approved nursing program
• Requires a New York state license to practice nursing
• Must maintain current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Must maintain the required number of continuing education credits to keep license and certifications current
• Prior emergency room and/or pediatric experience
