Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:

The job title is Tech: Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer. This role performs high-quality ultrasound examinations with a focus on OB/GYN imaging, supporting accurate maternal-fetal assessment. The sonographer may be required to float to a nearby clinic based on operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed anatomy scans with precision and consistent image quality.
• Conduct OB/GYN ultrasound procedures using established protocols and safety standards.
• Verify patient information, prepare equipment, and ensure proper exam setup before each study.
• Document findings accurately and complete required documentation and checklists.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support diagnostic continuity and timely results.
• Float to another clinic site as needed to maintain coverage within scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Hold certification in the relevant modality (either RCS/ARDMS/CCI or BLS, as applicable) with OB/GYN required.
• Maintain ARDMS, CCI, or RLS credentials as required for the OB/GYN specialty.
• Demonstrate detailed anatomy scan experience for OB/GYN ultrasound.
• Complete required submission checklist items and provide requested certification copies.
• Use Epic for charting and documentation as required.
• Obtain and maintain the appropriate state license (pending accepted if license is in-hand by the required deadline).
