Hospital Maintenance Technician

Description Memorial Community Health, Inc. is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance team at Memorial Hospital. This full-time position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and on-call requirements. The Maintenance Technician plays an important role in helping maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our patients, visitors, and employees. Monitors, inspects, and ensures the safe and efficient function and operation of all buildings, equipment, systems and grounds, in a proactive manner. Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures including pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments. Performs ground maintenance in a timely and efficient manner. Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in setting maintenance practices and completing maintenance projects. Maintains all utilities such as electricity, natural gas, heating, cooling, water, plumbing, medical gases, and communicates any issues appropriately. Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of residents' medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained. Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, Critical Access Hospital requirements, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
