A Day in the Life

This position covers the region of North Rhine-Westphalia and is therefore a remote position. Remote means that your home address is considered the primary workplace (home office). For meetings, your presence in the Medtronic office in Meerbusch may be required from time to time. For this position, there is a facility-related vaccination requirement. For this reason, full measles vaccination is a prerequisite for filling the open position.

Responsibilities include, as follows:

• Ensuring goal achievement through the strategic expansion of existing customer relationships and the active acquisition of new customers in the sales area.
• Proactively planning, implementing, and continuously developing all commercial activities for sustainable market penetration.
• Developing and strengthening long-term partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the healthcare sector, particularly with medical professionals.
• Expertly accompanying surgical procedures, supporting implantations, programming, and conducting training and follow-up measures in selected facilities.
• Therapy consultation and product expertise.
• Qualified consultation of doctors and medical staff on innovative therapy solutions, particularly in the areas of neuromodulation, spinal cord stimulation (SCS), and targeted drug delivery (TDD).
• Implementation and adaptation of market development strategies and active participation in product launches to ensure profitable growth.
• Close cooperation with internal interfaces (e.g., sales, marketing), efficient use of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), responsibility for order and billing processes, and continuous optimization of processes in the customer environment.

Required knowledge and experience:

• Completed training or degree in a technical or medical field (e.g., medical technology).
• Good anatomical knowledge and a strong technical and medical affinity.
• Confident, professional demeanor with high communication skills and a sense of responsibility.
• Structured, proactive work style with high flexibility, resilience, and sales aptitude.
• Experience with CRM systems and relevant tools, as well as strong team skills and integrity.
• High travel readiness (approx. 75%) and valid drivers license.
• Very good German and good English language skills.

Pay range: Germany: 62,560.00 EUR - 93,840.00 EUR
