Manager, Client Accounting Services Small Business-Healthcare Senior Living

Job Title: Manager, Client Accounting Services, Small Business-Healthcare We are looking for a Manager to join our outsourced client accounting practice. The role involves serving as an Accounting Manager for multiple clients nationwide, working within a cloud-based environment with a team of professionals. Responsibilities Oversee accounting operations for clients, including preparation of periodic financial reports. Maintain an adequate system of internal controls to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy and relevance of financial results. Ensure compliance with the applicable accounting framework and GAAP. Act as a business advisor, providing analysis and insights based on current business trends and industry experience. Provide exceptional service to clients, including accounting and advisory services. Manage the production of monthly, quarterly, and financial reports and benchmarking. Recommend business and process improvements to drive efficiencies. Collaborate with other managers to streamline workflows across offices, audit and tax functions. Coach, train, and mentor staff on client service, tax and accounting matters. Oversee and manage the current client engagement team. Promote teamwork, effective training, and workflow management across the team. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required; CPA and/or MBA preferred. Public accounting experience a plus. Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in professional accounting functions; experience in professional services/consulting preferred. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in compiling financial records. Excellent understanding of GAAP. Strong knowledge of the Healthcare and Senior Living sectors; willingness to train the right candidate. Effective communication skills and ability to manage client relationships. Exceptional attention to detail. Experience with industry software systems, including Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Yardi, Point Click Care and/or Matrix Care; willingness to train the right candidate. Personable professional demeanor with potential for growth within the firm. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
