Remote Senior Project Estimator - Industrial Controls / Electrical (PLC, I&E)

We are looking for a Senior Project Estimator with experience in industrial controls, PLC systems, and I&E work who wants full ownership of the estimating process from scope review through final bid submission. What Makes This Role Different You own the estimate from start to finish You influence strategy, pricing, and project pursuit decisions You work alongside a technical team that understands controls and automation Your work has visible impact on company growth and project success What You Will Be Doing Build estimates for industrial controls, PLC/DCS systems, and electrical installations Review and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, one-lines, and control schematics Price labor, materials, instrumentation, and subcontractors Identify risk, scope gaps, and cost drivers before they impact projects Partner with engineering, project managers, and vendors to strengthen bids Own estimates through final submission What You Need to Bring 5+ years of estimating experience in: Electrical or I&E systems Strong knowledge of: Instrumentation and industrial electrical systems Ability to manage multiple bids with accuracy and confidence Comfortable working independently with technical drawings Bonus Experience Industrial or water/wastewater project experience Field background (electrician, controls technician, commissioning) Familiarity with NEC or UL508A Who This Role Is Ideal For Controls or Automation Estimators Electrical or I&E Estimators Field professionals who moved into estimating Why People Make This Move More ownership More visibility More influence on what work gets won A role where technical expertise is respected Interested?
