Forklift OperatorEastern Staffing & Recruiting is recruiting for a Forklift Operator for our client in Charleston, SC. We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support material handling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality while maintaining smooth movement of materials throughout the facility.ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and production components.Load and unload trailers, containers, and pallets with precision and care.Verify material counts and ensures accurate placement in designated storage areas.Conduct pre-operation safety inspections and routine equipment checks.Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.Support production lines and shipping/receiving as needed.Always follow established safety and operational procedures.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsProven experience operating a forklift in an industrial or warehouse setting.Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material flow.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time.Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.The estimated hourly range for this position is $19/hr though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
