Position Summary

CB Chandler Companies is seeking a dependable Skilled Construction Technician to support our Construction, Roofing, and Electrical divisions. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, values teamwork, and wants to grow within a fast-paced, integrity-driven company.

We are looking for a well-rounded technician who can contribute across multiple trades and take ownership on the job site. If you show up on time, work hard, and care about doing things the right way, there is real opportunity here.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist project managers and lead technicians with daily job site tasks
• Perform demolition, site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with framing, roofing, exterior work, and general construction tasks
• Support minor carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work as needed
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Follow plans, instructions, and company safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
• Represent CB Chandler professionally with clients and subcontractors

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of construction or trade experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
• Ideal candidates are versatile and comfortable working across multiple trades including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• OSHA certification preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• $19 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skill level
