Job Title: Surgical Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: GA or compact license required Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: Skilled surgery RN with experience in general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck surgery. Experience caring for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies is essential. Description: Provide nursing care to patients in a surgical setting. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in educational programs and training as required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Adhere to all safety and health regulations. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exhibit the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
