The Housekeepers are responsible for ensuring that all community areas are kept in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly manner in accordance with established procedures to assure that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained at all times. Provides excellent Benefits Competitive Pay Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program with free counseling for employees 401K PTO & Sick leave Career growth opportunities Duties/Responsibilities Cleans/polishes furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in residents’ rooms, and the community’s living/recreational areas, etc., as instructed. Cleans, washes, sanitizes and/or polishes bathroom fixtures and ensures that all water marks are removed from fixtures. Cleans floors, to include: sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting etc., as instructed, and always ensures that CAUTION/SAFETY signs are properly set-up PRIOR to performing such duties. Cleans carpets, to include: vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting, as instructed. Cleans walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing etc., as instructed. Removes dirt, dust, grease, film etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions. Cleans hallways as necessary or instructed. Disposes of waste/trash into proper containers and re-lines trash receptacles with plastic liners. Qualifications Qualifications: Experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is a plus Experience in customer service is highly desired Upbeat and positive team player attitude Strong judgment and solutions-oriented A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents #J-18808-Ljbffr Avista Senior Living
