Mammography Technologist Work Location: 3801 W 15th St, Suite 150A Plano, TX 75075 Work Hours: (Part-Time) Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays 8:00am-4:30pm (1-2 Saturdays per month depending on Center needs) The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. Department/Center Highlights Patient-Focused Team Cohesive and Friendly Environment Supportive and Encouraging Atmosphere Here Is What You Will Need Texas Medical Board License - TMB Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience. Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years. Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred. A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist Provide services and support for the following areas: Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills Performs other work-related duties as assigned Why Solis Mammography?
