Chemical Specialist/Inventory Cycle Counter

Accurately weighing raw materials, liquids, and solids.

Storing, retrieving, kitting, and monitoring chemicals used in production.

Verifying shelf life (expiration date) and mix ratios on material.

Ensure correct labeling is on each container.

Report any low inventory to planner.

Verify scale is functional and calibrated daily.

Verify temperature and humidity are within guidelines in room before kitting.

Ensure proper use of PPE while handling any chemicals.

Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or assigned part numbers and/or locations daily.

Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies.

Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations.

Reporting accidents, safety violations, or other concerns.

Assist in stockroom duties as needed.

Other duties as required and assigned.

Prolonged standing, bending, squatting, sitting, pushing, pulling, reaching below knees, and reaching and lifting above shoulders.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Natural born U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Speak English.

Ability to read and understand standard and metric units of measures.

Microsoft Excel Basic.

Attention to detail.

Basic understanding and comfort with inventory software.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
