Recreation Therapist - Per Diem

Adjunctive Therapist (CTRS, OTR, OR ATR)Reports To: Director of Social ServicesDescription Of Position:The AT Therapist delivers structured therapeutic recreation services through group and individual sessions using modalities such as art, movement, exercise, occupational-based activities, and leisure interventions. Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team, the therapist develops and implements individualized activity therapy treatment plans and applies sound therapeutic recreation theory and methodology in all patient interactions. The role upholds organizational ethics, customer service standards, and a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement while supporting patient stabilization, engagement, and functional recovery in an acute behavioral health setting.Current Availability: Per Diem/On-Call (Weekend Availability Required).Hourly Pay Rate: $30.96 - 43.19 (Pay is based on experience)Key Responsibilities:Activities:Conducts group and individual sessions for patients, within scope of practice which may draw from mediums such as art therapy, movement therapy, occupational rehabilitation, exercise, games or leisure activities.In collaboration with interdisciplinary treatment team, develop and implement activity therapy treatment plans.Demonstrates sound application of activity therapy theory and methodology.Provide individual activity therapy as ordered by patient's physician.Administrative Assignments:Evaluate patient progress and document results in patient chart and department recordsContributes effectively to discharge planning.Perform routine and assigned clinical and administrative tasksExhibit a commitment to quality and process improvementPerforms related duties, as requested.Upholds the Organization's ethics and customer service standards.
