## Job Description# Sr Applications Engineer**Location:** Falls Church, Virginia (Remote) **Employment Type:** Contract to Perm* Implement and manage load balancing solutions.* Perform system administration tasks, with a focus on Windows Administration.* Install and configure new systems and applications.* Develop and schedule tasks using PowerShell scripting.* Manage and maintain relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.* Administer Active Directory Services and manage application security, including Single-Sign-On and Certificate Management.* Ensure reliable network and remote connectivity.* Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) using Documentum or Alfresco.* Knowledge of Multi-Tier Application Architecture and Infrastructure.* Proficiency with Application Servers such as WebLogic, JBoss, or Apache.* Demonstrated experience in load balancing implementation.* System and applications installation and configuration.* PowerShell scripting and task scheduling.* Administration of Active Directory Services and Application Security Management.* System development experience in Java or .NET.* Experience with RDBMS, specifically MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.*Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
