Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a strong bridge design leader for the position ofBridge Design Project Manager in the rapidly expanding Transportation Engineering Group in in Oakland, Ca.Specifics of the role include:Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects.Strong emphasis on complex bridge design (including rail and metro transit) projects and deliveries.Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.Leads technical business development work.Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.Approves and signs off on work.Leader in one or more areas of technology.Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects.As a member of this team, you will be a professional in dealing with colleagues of all levels and disciplines. This position is an opportunity to work within an established and successful group that offers a diverse range of projects, technical challenges and career development opportunities.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.California state PE license or ability to attain reciprocity in possessing another U.S. state PE license within one year of employment.Preferred Qualifications:12+ years' experience in bridge design and project deliveries.Extensive project design experience with complexbridge project work in CA.along withrelated structures project detail deliveries.Strong & proven success with business development and client relationships. This is a SELLER/DOER opportunity.Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing.Strong, provenand documented bridge project management experience & success and skills in California or regional project deliveries.Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, MathCAD, and MDXKnowledge of 3D finite element software such as CSiBridge, MIDAS, SAP2000, etc. is a plus.Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software)Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes.Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Relocation not offered with this opportunityAECOM does not offer U.S. work sponsorship or sponsorship transfer with this opportunity.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
