Emergency Medicine Physician

Client is seeking qualified Emergency Medicine physicians for a high-priority opportunity at Greenwood Leflore Hospital in west-central Mississippi.
This community Emergency Medicine position offers approximately 20,000 annual ED visits, 24-hour physician coverage, 12 hours of daily mid-level coverage, and a Level IV Trauma Center environment.
The position is well suited for physicians who are comfortable practicing with limited specialty backup and managing a broad range of emergency presentations.
Practice Overview:
Approximately 20,000 annual ED visits
Approximately 6.3% admission rate
24 hours of physician coverage
12 hours of mid-level coverage
Level IV Trauma Center
25 hospital beds
Cerner EMR
No scribes
Floor codes required, in coordination with Hospital Medicine
Limited specialty backup
Schedule:
6:00 AM 6:00 PM
6:00 PM 6:00 AM
12-hour day and night shifts are available.

ABEM/BEEM
ABFM with Emergency Medicine experience
