Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,780–$3,005 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 16 weeks Shift: Flex (Days/Nights as needed) Start date: 09/06/2026 Setting: Hospital-based travel assignment in Sitka, AK Responsibilities Coordinate and perform professional nursing care for patients across age groups, following orders, policies, and the nursing process Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administer medications and therapeutic interventions with attention to safety and effectiveness Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and execute appropriate clinical decisions; elevate to the physician or supervisor as needed Collaborate with physicians, unit staff, and ancillary teams; delegate tasks to CNAs/technicians and supervise as assigned Provide education and discharge planning to patients and families; document care, progress, and responses accurately Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety during periods of acuity change or emergency situations; participate in shift handoffs and patient care conferences as applicable Requirements Active Alaska RN license required at time of submission; valid, unrestricted license to practice in Alaska Education: High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an approved nursing program; current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS on hire Experience: One year of clinical nursing experience preferred; prior med/surg experience and readiness to float to ED/ICU as needed Additional: Must obtain/maintain flu vaccine; two fingerprint cards submitted upon acceptance; ability to work both day and night shifts as necessary; ability to float between Med/Surg/ED/ICU Benefits and Support All-inclusive pay rate; housing and flights are not provided 36 guaranteed hours per week 16-week assignment duration Assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the engagement Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
