Welder 1

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking 2nd shift Welders in partnership with a prominent client in Binghamton, NY within the Machining industry.



Summary:
Pay: $21 - $23 per hour
2 nd Shift: Mon - Fri: 2:30pm - 11:00pm



Welder Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding for the fabrication of metal assemblies.
• Ensure welding operations are performed in accordance with established specifications, including production work orders and drawings.
• Conduct self-inspections and ensure quality in accordance with procedures, utilizing drawings, fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools.
• Ensure safety while handling parts and operating equipment to avoid any possible damage to others as well as production.
• Actively participate in new product introduction and suggest new approaches and techniques for continued improvement in production and quality.
• Ensure product and work order information is accurate.
• Actively participate in the upkeep and cleanliness of the workplace and general area overall.
• Perform routine welding machine maintenance as stipulated and outlined in the maintenance procedure manual.
• Keep the workplace safe and free of dangerous obstacles.

Welder Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 5 years of MIG/TIG Welding Experience
• Experience working with Galvanized steel
• Strong manual dexterity for precise and efficient work
• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
