Role :- Office Build-Out Project Manager

Location :- Remote, USA

Job Summary:

Manage physical office build-out projects from initiation through occupancy readiness. The role will coordinate

construction, facilities, workplace technology, security, procurement, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver

offices that are safe, functional, technically ready, and completed to agreed scope and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage end-to-end build-out plans covering design, permits, construction, procurement, technology

installation, testing, move readiness, and handover.

Coordinate architects, general contractors, specialty vendors, landlords, facilities, IT, network, AV, physical security,

procurement, finance, and business stakeholders.

Manage scope, schedule, budget tracking, vendor deliverables, contracts, change requests, dependencies, and issue

resolution.

Lead site readiness reviews, construction progress meetings, punch-list management, commissioning, and occupancy

readiness checkpoints.

Coordinate network, Wi-Fi, AV, meeting rooms, access control, cabling, endpoint staging, and workplace technology

readiness.

Maintain project documentation, action logs, risk registers, status reports, decisions, and stakeholder communications.

Ensure safety, quality, compliance, handover documentation, warranties, asset records, and operational ownership are

addressed.

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years of project management experience in office build-outs, commercial construction, facilities, real estate, or workplace

delivery.

Demonstrated experience managing contractors, vendors, construction schedules, budgets, dependencies, and site

acceptance.

Working knowledge of office construction phases, procurement, permitting, inspections, commissioning, and occupancy

readiness.

Ability to coordinate workplace technology, network, AV, security, and facilities workstreams.

Strong vendor management, negotiation, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication skills.

Ability to travel to project sites when required and work effectively with teams in US time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Jira for project tracking and cross-functional coordination.

Experience delivering technology-intensive office environments or multiple concurrent sites.

PMP, construction-management, facilities-management, or related certification.

Experience with EST-based vendors and stakeholders.
