Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation RN Night Shift in a healthcare provider setting. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care within the inpatient rehabilitation unit, ensuring the safety, comfort, and recovery of each patient through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and educates patients and families to prepare for discharge.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for patient care on the inpatient rehabilitation unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on age-specific criteria. Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team members and educates patients and families about their treatment and discharge plans.
• Required Qualifications: 1+ years of Long-Term Care (LTC) and/or Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) experience; Ohio or Ohio/Compact Registered Nurse License; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS); current pertinent skills checklist.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, patience, and tact with physicians, patients, and staff. Flexibility with work schedule and on-call requirements is necessary. Basic computer skills and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience are required.
• Submission Requirements: Must provide proof of active Ohio/OH or Compact RN license, BLS certification, and relevant skills checklist.
