Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist – Pediatrics/NICU NewYork-Presbyterian / Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital At NewYork‑Presbyterian / Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, Speech‑Language Pathologists assist pediatric patients with serious swallowing and communication impairments. They evaluate and treat medically complex pediatric patients from birth to 21 years on acute care floors, including the Cardiac Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role involves care of critically ill patients, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care. This is a per‑diem position. Weekday availability and flexibility for weekends (minimum 2 days per month, plus two holidays) is required. Additional weekday availability is preferred. Preferred Criteria Competency in Modified Barium Swallow Studies with pediatrics. Experience working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Experience working with Trach/Vent pediatric patients. Experience with complicated cardiac, GI, and ENT diagnoses. Required Criteria Master's Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology. Certification by the American Speech‑and‑Hearing Association. New York State Licensure in Speech‑Language Pathology. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. At least 2 years’ experience evaluating and treating pediatric feeding and swallowing in an acute care setting. Additional Information All roles require on‑site presence. Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses. Salary & Benefits Salary: $73.50 per hour.
