Job Description Summary Will handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic. The Patient Services Specialist (PSS) is divided into stations, each with a distinct set of job duties that are performed by one employee in a typical day. In addition to the usual duties of each station, every PSS is expected to assist co‑workers in performing all job duties of a PSS at all times. All employees hired for the PSS position will be expected to learn and perform all duties of all front office stations. The role requires strong copywriting, editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently meet time‑sensitive priorities. Must be highly organized and flexible according to changing priorities. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Education High School Diploma / GED required. Previous Experience Experience in the healthcare field is highly preferred. Attention to detail with strong ability to multitask and excellent interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills with a wide variety of personalities. Core Capabilities Analysis & Critical Thinking: Problem solving, planning, time management and organizational skills. Must be detailed oriented with independent judgment. Interpersonal Effectiveness: Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, conflict management, and diversity awareness.
