Design Assistant

At Pamella Roland, this role offers hands‑on experience and exposure to the full eveningwear design lifecycle. The position allows you to see the collection process from concept through final execution. You will assist with embroidery layouts, learn hand‑sewing techniques, participate in local sourcing, and support photoshoots and special projects. No two days are the same, making this an exciting opportunity for someone eager to learn, contribute, and gain firsthand experience within a luxury fashion house. Responsibilities Assist the design team with daily administrative and creative tasks Support seasonal collection development and design research Organize fabric, trim, and color libraries Create and update inspiration boards, design boards, and presentation materials Assist with embroidery layouts and design revisions as needed Prepare materials for fittings and meetings Assist with local sourcing of fabrics, trims, and other materials Support runway, photoshoots, and special projects as assigned Help maintain organization within the design studio Conduct market and trend research What You'll Gain Experience supporting seasonal collections from concept through production Exposure to fittings, photoshoots, local sourcing, and special projects Opportunities to develop skills in embroidery layouts, hand‑sewing, and garment preparation Daily collaboration with experienced designers and industry professionals A behind‑the‑scenes look at the day‑to‑day operations of a luxury fashion house Job Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Available Wednesday – Friday each week
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• In‑person position; remote work is not available
