Associate Financial Advisor

Our client is looking for an Associate Financial Advisor to join their team. This full-time, permanent role involves assisting lead advisors with meeting preparation, follow-ups, and client support. Responsibilities Include: Schedule and attend client meetings in a support role, ensuring smooth communication between advisors and clients. Review and analyze client financial data, utilizing both proprietary and commercial financial planning tools. Assist in the creation of comprehensive financial plans, including data gathering, recommendations, implementation, and ongoing portfolio management. Track the progress and implementation of recommended wealth management strategies. Cultivate and maintain client relationships through regular communication and proactive outreach. Provide client service, including updates, portfolio reviews, data collection, and identification of new opportunities. Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience in the insurance, investment, or financial planning industry. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field. Series 7 and 66/63 are required. NYS Life, Accident, & Health insurance is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and professional interactions. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems and financial planning software. Solid understanding of financial planning processes, including investment strategies, portfolio management, and insurance solutions. Ability to build strong client relationships, providing tailored solutions and ongoing support.
