Starting Date Immediately Store Costa Mesa, CA Where 2200 HARBOR BLVD STE B110 COSTA MESA CA, 92627 Type Full Time Wage $21.50/hour Description Sell Deseret Book products and services in a retail store environment Deliver excellent customer service Oversee retail store operations such as cashiering, gift wrapping, merchandise presentation, shipping/receiving, store recovery, etc Supervise, train, and motivate store associates Give assignments and follow up to ensure timely completion Perform store opening and closing assignments Required Skills Ability to interact with customers in-person and over the phone on a day-to-day basis is an essential function of this position Knowledge of Deseret Book products, policies, and procedures preferred Ability to coach and lead store associates Ability to see problems and work proactively to correct them Self-motivated with good team skills Computer and cashiering skills helpful Applicants must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays (except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) Ability to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates Ability to locate and identify product for customers Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 20 lbs Benefits Excellent medical, dental, and life insurance Paid leave and holidays Company-funded retirement plan 401(k) savings plan with company matching funds Merchandise discount Equal Opportunity Deseret Book is an equal opportunity employer.
