GDI Information Security Analyst Intern - OVIP

Job Description Information Security Compliance Analyst – support Federal Compliance and Federal Sales Teams in the Oracle Government, Defense & Intelligence (GDI) team. Compensation Hourly wage: $30 per hour for a 40 hour per week position. US salary range: $18.17 - $34.62 per hour; $37,800 - $72,000 per year (location specific). Primary Responsibilities Support federal compliance initiatives. Support design and development of process and documentation in support of CMMC and related efforts. Maintain business relationships with interested parties on information security requirements. Support additional or related GDI Performance Management initiatives in an ad‑hoc capacity. Collaborate with other Oracle One Federal teams. Required Skills & Experience Experience with Cybersecurity and Information Security. Understanding of NIST SP 800‑53, NIST SP 800‑171, CMMC, DFARS (desired but not required). Thorough understanding of security principles, techniques, and protocols. Fundamental understanding of security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti‑virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc. Ability to communicate security issues to peers, management, customers, and end‑users. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure. U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance if needed. Desired Skills & Experience Knowledge of standards and requirements with application security. Knowledge and expertise in risk, information security and environment management projects. Strong multi‑tasker with keen eye for detail. Organized and thrive in fast‑paced environment. Eligibility U.S. Veterans transitioning from active service or military spouses new to corporate experience are preferred.
