Automotive Sales Associate (Part-Time)

Family-Owned Used Car Dealership | Olympia, WA

We are a small, family-owned used car dealership looking for a dependable, professional individual to join our team part-time. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, vehicle handling, and sales support.

This is  not a high-pressure commission-only sales environment. We value honesty, professionalism, reliability, and exceptional customer service above aggressive sales tactics.

We are looking for someone who wants long-term employment and takes pride in representing a small family business.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them throughout the vehicle purchasing process.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, text, Facebook Marketplace, and online leads.
• Show vehicles and accompany customers on test drives.
• Safely move, park, and organize vehicles on the lot.
• Prepare and organize sales paperwork and customer documents.
• Keep the dealership and vehicle inventory presentable.
• Follow dealership policies and procedures with attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be comfortable driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Comfortable parking and moving vehicles in tight spaces.
• Basic automotive knowledge , including jump-starting a battery, opening the hood, checking basic vehicle components, and confidently operating various vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Stable work history preferred.
• Automotive or sales experience preferred.

Position Details

• Part-time (24 hours per week)
• Three days per week
• Day shift (9:30 AM–5:30 PM)
• $26.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
