About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience preferred - Experience in a Level II Trauma facility required - Patient Ratio Experience of 4:1 Description: This position requires 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 07:00 to 19:30. Every other weekend coverage is necessary. Certifications needed include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in emergency nursing. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Patient care will include various age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The typical daily census in the unit is around 16 patients. Skills required include: - Management of patients with acute health conditions - Administration of emergency medications - Care for ventilated patients - IV management and administration - Intubation and emergency procedure skills - Triage and assessment of urgent care scenarios Successful candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. The position entails full engagement in interdisciplinary support and collaboration. Compliance with relevant health and safety protocols is crucial.
