Manufacturing Technician

Title: Manufacturing Technician (x2) Job Type: Contract (W2 Only) Contract Length: 6 months Pay Range: $40-45/hr Start Date: ASAP Location: Onsite - Foster City, CA About the Opportunity Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle manufacturing, is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves the assembly, diagnostics, and testing of pre-production electric vehicles and subassemblies. This is a high-impact role that requires a self‑motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables Working closely with engineers and other technicians on building, diagnosing, and testing pre-production vehicles. Supporting vehicle bring‑up activities, which requires using debug and diagnostic skills on electrical circuits. Providing direct feedback from build and bring‑up activities to engineers to help create and refine key systems. Completing daily tasks to ensure on‑time completion of project milestones. Regularly organizing and maintaining the build area. Identifying areas of improvement for quality, efficiency, and safety. Required Skills & Experience 4 to 6 years of experience working as a technician in a manufacturing environment. Deep expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems. Experience with basic hand, power, and diagnostic tools. Ability to read electrical schematics. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals. Automotive/OEM experience (specifically in EOL/diagnostics/repair) is a plus.
