Compensation: $76,000–$100,000/year + triannual performance-based bonuses

We are seeking a Data Governance Manager – Master Data & Analytics to become an enterprise leader for how Huyett defines, governs, connects, and uses information across the business.

This is not simply a data maintenance position. It is an opportunity to build and mature an enterprise capability.

You will lead governance across critical data domains including Customer, Product/SKU, Supplier, and Transaction data while helping establish the standards, architecture, processes, and information-quality practices that support better decision-making throughout the Company.

Working closely with business leaders, Information Services, Data Analytics, and subject matter experts, you will help transform trusted enterprise data into better customer targeting, personalized marketing, sales growth, sourcing decisions, operational efficiency, analytics, reporting, and future Artificial Intelligence applications.

You'll work across functions and levels of the organization, gaining exposure to Information Services, Data Analytics, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Executive Leadership.

What You'll Lead

Enterprise Data Governance & Master Data Management
Establish and continuously improve standards, processes, ownership practices, and input specifications across Customer, Product/SKU, Supplier, Transaction, and other business domains. Help ensure enterprise information is consistently defined, measurable, governed, and suitable for business operations, analytics, and future AI applications.

Information Architecture & Analytics Enablement
Partner with Information Services and Data Analytics to translate business information requirements into effective database, integration, reporting, analytics, and data warehouse solutions. Help ensure analytical capabilities are built upon approved Systems of Record, trusted business definitions, and reliable enterprise information.

Data Architecture & Design
Partner with developers and technical resources to approve and maintain master data structures. Help create normalized, validated, and scalable frameworks that connect customer behaviors, product attributes, supplier information, transactions, and pricing to actionable business insights.

Information Quality & Continuous Improvement
Establish baselines, scorecards, and measurable objectives for Information Quality. Monitor accuracy, completeness, consistency, duplication, and reliability while identifying opportunities and leading corrective and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Customer Data & Enrichment
Improve the quality and usefulness of customer information by standardizing account structures, improving contact capture, enriching records with third-party data, validating NAICS classifications, and advancing customer stratification and segmentation.

Product, Supplier & Transaction Data
Develop and maintain governance practices that improve the quality and consistency of product, supplier, and transaction-level information used throughout Huyett's commercial and operational processes.

Analytics & Commercial Enablement
Help turn trusted enterprise information into actionable insight supporting customer segmentation, prospecting, sales growth, personalized marketing, sourcing decisions, operational performance, and other strategic initiatives.

Leadership & Change Management
Lead cross-functional information initiatives through collaboration and influence. Work with Executive Leadership, Business Leaders, Information Services, Data Analytics, Subject Matter Experts, and governance stakeholders to improve data literacy, accountability, and adoption.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines technical data knowledge with business judgment and the ability to lead through influence.

The strongest candidates will bring experience in several of the following areas:

• Master Data Management (MDM) and/or enterprise Data Governance.
• Data quality, stewardship, standards, ownership, and governance frameworks.
• ERP, CRM, data warehouse, Business Intelligence, or related enterprise platforms.
• Customer, product/item/SKU, supplier, pricing, or transaction data.
• Data architecture, modeling, normalization, integration, or database concepts.
• Reporting, analytics, segmentation, or commercial data applications.
• Leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without relying solely on positional authority.
• Translating technical data concepts into practical business solutions.
• Manufacturing, industrial distribution, wholesale distribution, supply chain, or similarly complex product environments.

Experience with every item above is not required . We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate curiosity, sound judgment, business understanding, continuous improvement, and the ability to build scalable processes.

Our preference is for this position to be based in Minneapolis, KS , where the role can work closely with key business stakeholders and operations.

Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate , and Huyett may consider a remote work arrangement for an exceptional candidate , with appropriate travel and in-person collaboration based on business needs.
