CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide essential patient care and support in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities as a certified CNA. Ensure residents' comfort, safety, and well-being through compassionate and attentive service.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic nursing tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding residents.
Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control procedures.
Document care provided and observe residents for any unusual symptoms or behaviors.
Support mobility needs, including turning and repositioning residents to prevent pressure injuries.
Comply with facility policies regarding identification and badge requirements, and adhere to vaccination and exemption policies.

Qualifications:

Valid CNA certification and state or federal licensing.
Successful completion of required COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism in patient care.
Capable of working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
