Intermediate Medical Planner

Join to apply for the Intermediate Medical Planner role at NBBJ Design . This role offers an annual base pay range of $85,000–$110,000 per year. Responsibilities Design and planning of hospitals and clinics Work with clients to identify objectives and formulate options Participate in the conceptual design of healthcare projects Effectively lead Clinical User Group meetings and participate in client presentations Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, Project Managers and allied professionals from concept design through construction Coordinate or prepare drawings and designs in accordance with best practices and quality expectations Apply governing regulatory codes and hospital licensing standards, validating requirement compliance Qualifications 8–12 years of healthcare planning experience across various project/facility types and sizes Bachelor's or Architecture degree (or equivalent) required; M Arch preferred Passion for healthcare design and demonstrated excellence in planning, design and innovation Knowledge of current healthcare planning and programming concepts, including patient safety and evidence-based design principles Understanding of programmatically rich healthcare projects from concept design and programming through construction administration Experience participating in client user group meetings and collaborating on related deliverables Advanced knowledge of innovative healthcare strategic planning, master planning, programming, and design Familiarity with healthcare design literature and evidence-based design research Ability to work collaboratively with in-house medical planners and coordinate with external consultants Ability and interest to manage, design, document and execute small projects independently Exceptional listening, written, verbal and graphic communication skills Proficiency in Revit with 3D modeling skills preferred Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Rhino or 3DS Max preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Benefits 100% coverage of employee healthcare costs and 401(k) contributions Medical insurance Vision insurance Disability insurance Child care support Paid maternity leave Paid paternity leave Tuition assistance Professional development and volunteer opportunities Access to leading technology and resources This role requires the individual to be based in the United States.
